For web based visualizations, our job is to ensure performance, reliability, and a high quality user experience, so there will be some process for evaluating incoming artwork.

Here’s some additional information about the different images you can upload:

  • Static Images
    • You can upload JPEGs and PNGs up to 25MB. Images uploaded outside of the 9:16 aspect ratio will be appear cropped and zoomed-to-center by default. Images larger than 1080x1920 will be resized to 1080p (the max resolution of the EO2 and EO1).  If you wish to use your device to display landscape oriented images, you’ll have to rotate your image 90 degrees before beginning the upload process.
  • Animated GIFs
    • You can upload GIFs up to 25MB. By default, they will display on your device zoomed, cropped, and centered in our native GIF player.  Like static images, GIFs uploaded outside of the 9:16 aspect ratio will be appear cropped and zoomed-to-center by default. You can change the crop setting by visiting the Art page and selecting “Center.” If you experience unexpected framerates with animated GIFs consider converting them to h.264 MP4 video before uploading.
  • Videos
    • You can upload MP4 files up to 100MB. Files over 10MB are best uploaded with a URL to a direct file. Our products display videos at 1080x1920 pixels (1080p Full HD), but for longer videos we recommend downscaling to 720p.
